Unlawful Practice of Law Committee

This committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss issues in the unauthorized practice of law and to review referrals from attorneys and the public regarding individuals who are believed to be engaging in legal practice without a license. The committee attempts to deal with the referrals in ways that protect the public and maintain the integrity of the practice of law. Additionally, we offer CLEs for lawyers relative to unlawful practice topics and provide programs to educate non-lawyers on the harmful effects of the practice of law by laypersons.
