The Awards Committee was formed in 2007 to serve as the MCBA clearinghouse in nominating members and others for awards given both by the MCBA and by other bars and organizations statewide and nationally. The Committee meets monthly and, with the input of members, seeks to identify worthy candidates for various awards and to facilitate their nominations. Members of the Committee are chosen from current and past bar leaders, the judiciary, and community leaders.
