Groundbreaking Ceremony - Telesca Center for Justice Phase II June 27, 2012 After several years of planning, Phase II of the Telesca Center for Justice Co-location initiative has begun with the renovation of the 8th floor reception area, and the renovation of the ground floor lobby, which will begin next week. The renovation of the ground floor lobby will remove the inoperative escalators, create needed office space for one of the civil legal service partners, and create a space that will honor the hundreds of donors that made this vision a reality. The vision was that of the late Hanna Cohn, former Executive Director of Volunteer Legal Services Project. Foundation Awards $40,000 in Grants June 8, 2012 ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Foundation of the Monroe County Bar today announced the award of seven grants totaling $40,000 to support programs that benefit not only the legal community, but the community as a whole. Several of this year’s grants benefit legal programs that help youth in need in the Greater Rochester community, as part of the Foundation’s mission.
