Ann

Ann

Ann’s husband harassed her at her job, physically assaulted and humiliated her in front of her children, and verbally and emotionally abused her. She endured this abuse for years until, one night after severely beating her, he threatened her life for several hours at knifepoint. The next morning, she escaped to a women’s shelter with her children. She changed jobs out of fear of her husband. But, he continued to stalk, threaten and harass her.

She felt helpless...until she turned to legal services.

With the help of a legal services attorney, Ann obtained an order of protection against her husband, gained custody of her children, and was able to relocate her family to a safe environment.
