Who is a Young Lawyer?

Who is a Young Lawyer?  The Young Lawyers Section is open to attorneys who have been practicing for ten or fewer years or have not yet reached the age of 36.

Why should I join?

1.       The YLS hosts great parties and networking events.

2.       The YLS provides members with great community service opportunities.

3.       YLS members get discounts on YLS sponsored CLEs on topics that are relevant to young lawyers.

4.       The YLS nominates its members for awards that recognize its members’ contributions to the legal community.

How much does it cost?  Members of the section must also be members of the MCBA.  The cost to join the YLS is $25, but that fee is waived for the first two years of admission.

How can I join?  Fill out the membership application and send it to Liz Novak at the MCBA.
