MCBA APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for joining the Monroe County Bar Association! Before submitting your online application, please review it thoroughly to ensure that all areas contain complete and correct information.
Date of Admission
You will be asked for your date of admission. Please indicate the date of your earliest admission to the Bar of any state.
If you would like to join or continue in a committee or section, you must select that committee or section on the form. Please note that the following committees are by presidential appointment only: Academy of Law, Awards, Diversity, Ethics, Fee Arbitration, Professional Performance, House/Finance, Judiciary, and Unlawful Practice of Law. Should you elect one of these committees on your renewal form you will be contacted to confirm your appointment.
Please consider making a donation on the form to the Foundation of the Monroe County Bar. As a result of attorney contributions last year, the Foundation was able to fund a number of worthwhile programs and initiatives, including Deaf Equal Access Fund, The Rochester Legal Diversity Clerkship Program, Rochester Teen Court, and more.
If you would like to become an MCBA Patron, please consider an additional contribution of $100 per year. If you would like to donate more than the $100, please consider becoming part of the MCBA President’s Circle -- for those members who donate $250 or more to the MCBA. This contribution will show our entire membership your commitment to the MCBA and help provide important financial support for the many MCBA programs and activities.
Should you wish to join a committee or section, make a contribution to the Foundation’s Annual Appeal or to the Academy of Law Scholarship Fund, or become a Patron or member of the President’s Circle after you have submitted this form, please contact Liz Novak at email@example.com.
If you belong to another county bar association within the 7th Judicial District and would like to deduct your dues from dues paid to the MCBA, do not use this online renewal form. Please mail in the paper form you received and attach proof of payment of dues paid to the other bar association.
Please note: we are on a July 1 - June 30 fiscal year; we do not prorate dues.
